Day 1: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (230 km / 5 hrs)

Arrive in Guwahati and be warmly greeted by our representative at the airport/railway station. Journey to the renowned Kaziranga National Park, the abode of the majestic "One-Horned Rhinoceros." Check-in at your preferred hotel, lodge, or resort. The evening is yours to unwind and relax. Overnight stay at the accommodation.

Day 2: Kaziranga National Park - Wildlife Safari

Rise early to explore the Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant. Kaziranga is not only home to the endangered One-Horned Rhinoceros but also sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild Elephants, and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. This paradise for birdwatchers hosts around 500 bird species, including the Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, and many more. After the elephant safari, return to the resort for breakfast. Later in the afternoon, embark on a thrilling jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at the accommodation.

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park - Shillong (280 km / 7 hrs)

After a delicious breakfast, proceed to Shillong, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East." En route, witness the captivating beauty of Umiam Lake (Barapani), nestled amidst sylvan hills and green Khasi-pines under the azure blue skies. Upon arrival in Shillong, check-in at your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong

Wake up early to embrace the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong. After breakfast at 07:30 A.M., embark on a scenic drive to Cherrapunjee, known as the wettest place on Earth (60 km / 1½ hrs). Explore the roaring waterfalls, including the famed Nohsngithiang Falls, and witness the captivating Nohkalikai Waterfall. Explore the caves in and around Cherrapunjee and visit Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak for breathtaking views. Return to Shillong and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 5: Shillong Sightseeing - Guwahati (100 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, delve into Shillong's cultural and natural wonders. Visit the Don Bosco Monument, Ward’s Lake for boating, Botanical Garden, and Lady Hydri Park. After exploring Shillong, proceed to Guwahati (100 km / 3 hrs). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy an optional tour of the 'Kalakshetra,' where Assamese history and culture come alive through a captivating light and sound show. Alternatively, you can experience a memorable evening cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.

Day 6: Guwahati Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the spiritual and cultural heritage of Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, and the Assam State Museum. After lunch, continue your sightseeing tour with a visit to the State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre, and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). In the evening, you may opt for an optional Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Farewell

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and bid farewell to the enchanting Northeast. Transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station with everlasting memories of this captivating journey.
